Resource Bundles
Resource bundles enable you to improve your Terms of Service (TOS) documentation by including formatting and hyperlinks in your TOS. A compressed file is uploaded to CAS, and the HTML is then displayed on the BATM when the customer views the TOS.
Create your webpage.
You are on your own, we can’t help you there. Just make sure that the main HTML file is named index.html and that all graphics & other necessary files are saved in the same directory, and that the directory/folder is named “ToS”.
Compress the ToS folder/directory.
Use a ZIP utility to compress the folder, making sure the folder is root. The root folder is the base directory within the archive. Do not password-protect the archive. There should be no subdirectories, just that single directory named “ToS” (which contains all the required files).
Name the Resource Bundle setting:
Upload the ZIP file to CAS:
Save the setting.
If the file is corrupt, empty, or invalid, you’ll receive this error:
Assign the bundle to the relevant Terminals:
see: Terminal Settings
Alternate method
If you operate hundreds of Terminals (or more) and wish to offload the processing demands to a different server, you may consider merely directing the BATMs to look at the identified server file (instead).
If an External URL is used, the Terminals will download the Resource Bundle from there.
Terminals depend on the Content Hash to ascertain whether their cached Resource Bundle is current (or not). Therefore, uploading the new Resource Bundle is still needed. After the 2 are compared (and found identical), the new Resource Bundle will be applied.
After saving the setting, revisit the same setting, and link to the online version of the same file:
