Recycler Configuration, Loading & Unloading
Some of our two-way BATMs come with a Recycler. Very useful, it accepts up to 2 denominations of banknotes, which it can then also dispense to your customers. Unlike a simple cash dispenser, it does force you to jump through a few extra hoops, though. A Recycler is recommended for lower volume locations where 2-way operation is desired, but substantial amounts of cash on-hand is unnecessary.
The Recycler must be manually loaded, one banknote at a time.
The Recycler must be specifically unloaded.
To purge the Recycler, use “Float Down”: Recycler Float Downs
When the Recycler fills to capacity of any particular banknote, it will pass further banknotes through to the stacker (cashbox).
IMPORTANT:
The Recycler must be emptied prior to updating your acceptor firmware!
Recyclers use special firmware, and installing non-recycler firmware may damage it.
BE SURE TO SPECIFY THAT YOU USE A RECYCLER WHEN REQUESTING NEW BILLSET FIRMWARE!
