Payment Card Reader CAS Configuration
Currently, two different card reader vendors are supported in CAS. Select the reader you’ve acquired from the vendor for Terminal configuration. The remaining instructions are identical.
At this time, card readers are only supported in Europe.
Hardware Installation Instructions
Worldline Valina
For each Terminal that has a Valina installed:
Add the EUR fiat.
Set the Terminal’s AML/KYC to use EUR.
Add to the Terminal’s Custom Strings →
special_configuration
to include:cardpayment paymentcardreaderid=XXXXXXXX
NOTE: both
cardpayment
and thepaymentcardreaderid=XXXXXXXX
strings are required!
Example:
Payment Card Reader ID = eight digits unique to each card reader.
These digits are labeled as a “TID#” on the device.

Notes
At the time of the creation of this article The QpayPOS card reader supports EUR transactions only.
Each connected Terminal must include the EUR fiat, and
include EUR in the respective AML/KYC setting.
Setup Instructions
For each Terminal that has a Q5000 installed:
Add the EUR fiat.
Set the Terminal’s AML/KYC to use EUR.
Set the Terminal’s Custom Strings → special_configuration to include:
cardpayment cardpaymenttype=qpay
NOTE: both
cardpayment cardpaymenttype=qpay
strings are required!

Reporting
After the first card transaction, a new section “payment_card_terminal” will appear in the Cash report:
Clicking “SHOW TRANSACTIONS” on that page will now generate a card (only) transaction report:
Banknote History will now also list card payments (in the payment_card_terminal Cash Box):
