Acceptor Problems
The acceptor will reject unauthorized banknotes (of course) - but any type of jam will also cause banknotes to be rejected. Common solutions are provided in this article.
If new banknotes have been introduced in your region, please see this article for instructions on installing updated acceptor firmware to support the new local billset.
Common problem: check that your stacker/cashbox is empty & properly seated.

Troubleshooting:
1. Turn off the BATM!
2. Inspect the acceptor head.
Slide the yellow piece forward to unlock the clamshell assembly.
Inspect for debris. Gently clean the path with compressed air.
If using a Recycler, additional paths should be inspected.
3. Inspect the stacker box.
Check the gear assembly for paper jams:
Check that the pressure plate inside the stacker isn't jammed.
The pressure plate should move up/down freely.
Try a substitute spare stacker box.
4. Lastly, if the common solutions don’t help:
Check all your acceptor connections: Acceptor: Connection Checks
5. Still stuck?
Attach a picture of the BATM's Administration screen.
You may have to wait a few minutes for the acceptor data to register.
