Monerod is a server daemon (a program) that powers the Monero blockchain.
Blockchains cannot exist without these participating nodes. The monerod daemon also provides wallet functions. General Bytes' CAS can use these wallet functions directly, eliminating the need for third-party
dependence on a provider.

Specific instructions for installing & using monerod with CAS are contained in this PDF.

Version documented: Linux 64-bit v0.14.0.2

After installing the node, you’ll need the following information:

user:password:host:port

user and password are for RPC access, as determined by you during node setup.

The host is the public IP of the node server that you setup.

The port is typically the default: 18081

Using the GB Cloud CAS, you’ll want to install the GB Wallet Tunnel as described here: Install the GB Wallet Tunnel Server

Put this information into your Crypto Setting parameters, save it & test it.
