This guide describes the installation of a QPay Q5000 card reader on a BATMFour.

the custom cover plate from GB designed specifically for the reader installation on the BATMFour,
the USB reduction for the data connection, and
basic mounting fasteners.
Obviously, you’ll also need a QPay Q5000 (not sold or included by GB).
The tools included with your BATM are useful for this installation.
Installation consists of two steps:

Open the top door and remove the computer cover.
Remove the fingerprint reader by unscrewing the 6 serrated nuts located at the perimeter of the fingerprint holder (socket size 7mm - included in your toolset).
Store the fingerprint reader temporarily in the cross bar support to move it out of the way.

Peel back the NFC antenna sticker by carefully sliding a knife under it.
You can remove it completely (and store stow it for reuse), or just lift the sides to expose the fasteners.

Remove the self-locking nuts (socket size 2x 5.5mm) on fastened to each Phillips-head screw (2 of them).

If you have NFC installed (typical), disconnect the NFC antenna and remove the NFC reader cover by unscrewing the screw and sliding the cover away.
If you do not have NFC installed, just remove the antenna cover.

A little bit of hot glue is also used to secure the other end of the cable. Carefully release it and remove the NFC antenna. The NFC connector now goes Pull the NFC cable out (gently) through the hole in the custom metal cover.

Unscrew the 11 serrated nuts (socket size 7mm) to release the original plate.

Remove only the top-most (original) plate (leave the distance plate installed).

Install the custom BATMFour Q5000 cover plate.
Prepare your Q5000 card reader.

Hardware installation is completed.
