Recyclers must be specifically unloaded (also called a “float down”). This purge must be performed before certain critical operations, like updating the Recycler firmware.

To quickly purge all banknotes in the Recycler and reset the contents to zero, you can arbitrarily choose to “Float down” the Recycler. All banknotes are then pushed into the stacker (cashbox).

• You may find this useful when using a third-party agent to perform cash collections.

There are 2 methods of performing a “Float Down”:

1. Remotely (from CAS)

Navigate to the BATM’s ACTION menu and select “Recycler float down”.
