How to install GMKit:


Step 1:

Turn off the ATM.

Check if all cables has labels, if not mark port number where they were connected.

Disconnect all cables from original computer.

Step 4:

Unscrew these two screws.

Step 5:

Gently remove original computer.

Step 6:

Unbox General Bytes GMKit.

Step 7:

Connect USB (bottom ones) and power (upper one) cables.
USBs are connected to bottom four connector. Order doesn't matter.

Step 8:

Insert GMKit to your Genmega kiosk and use same screws to keep it in place, don't forget to bolt down grounding cable.

Step 9:

Carefully connect cables back according to cable labels and GMKit label.

This image shows damaged COM4, to prevent this you need to put in cable straight to GMKit, plugging cable in angle can bend pins inside the connector.

If this happens you can carefully bend pin back to it's position.

If you unfortunately manage to break the pin, there is a probably the device will work correctly, because not all pins are used. In this case please contact us with photo of broken connector for further information.

But be very careful when connecting these cables.

Step 10:

Connect all cables to GMKit according to labels.

Step 11:

COM1, COM2 and USB for UPS are not connected.

Turn on the ATM.

Configure your ATM on server. And you are ready to go.
