Locate the Phone number ID
Meta will assign an internal number to the phone number you add to WhatsApp. Locate the number and use it in the CAS parameters where the phone_id is required.
Setup the token in your Organization settings.
Navigate to Organization: Organization
Scroll down to SMS Provider.
Select WhatsApp.
Enter the token and the phone_id parameters.
Save the Organization settings.
If you are adding WhatsApp as a backup provider, then:
use “ADD PROVIDER” to create an additional provider entry area, and
ensure the Priority is a higher number (e.g. 2).
When configured as a backup provider, the OTP and notifications will be sent to the primary (“Priority 1”) provider first, then offered as a button on the OTP panel for the customer to select during OTP entry.
