Ultra SCR Recycler Un/Installation

An Ultra may be order with the SCR model Recycler from MEI/CPi. This article provides replacement guidance where required.

Separate (unpair) the two halves of the Molex connector.

  • located above the head, near the vault ceiling.

  • Press and hold the single release clip while gently pulling apart.

Release the upper retaining plate.

  • Remove the 4 screws fastening the upper retaining plate (above the vault, inside the Ultra head):

Release the lower retaining plate.

  • Remove the 6 nuts fastening the retaining plate in the vault, under the Recycler.

Remove the bracketed Recycler from the Ultra.

Remove the Recycler from the bracket.

  • Save the bracket for reuse (replacement Recyclers do not include a bracket).

Upper bolts:

  • 2 on each side (4 total):

Lower 2 bolts:

  • 2 on each side (4 total):

Installation is the reverse order of removal.
