Pairing Requests
A Terminal (BATM) or Safe must be added to your CAS in a specific order. “Pairing” is the final step, and requires that the following prerequisites have been performed for the new Terminal.
Prerequisites
A placeholder for the Terminal/Safe has been created using “+ADD”.
See: Terminals List
The VPN credentials have been generated for this BATM/Safe from the CLI using vpn-generate.
You’ve temporarily opened the CAS firewall port 7741
in Terminal/Safe details: “Terminal Active” (or “Safe Active”) is enabled, and
in Terminal/Safe details: “IP Whitelist Enabled” is disabled, and
you have 2FA enabled in your CAS Profile (My Profile ).
Initial Connection
The new Terminal will appear in the “Pairing Requests” section of Terminals if it has connected:
View the fingerprint
A fingerprint will be displayed on your Terminal/Safe screen:
NOTE THE CERTIFICATE FINGERPRINT.
Compare the Certificate fingerprint to the “pairing code” displayed on the Pairing Request screen.
If the codes match and the pairing is expected, approve the pairing:
Your Profile must have 2FA implemented to approve the pairing.
If you haven’t already activated 2FA, then activate 2FA before pairing, and
refresh the page and re-enter the pairing screen.
